August 19, 2017 - August 24, 2017
  Held at ACAD, Calgary, AB

This Watercolour Symposium is sponsored by the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour.
The events will be held at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, AB.

I will be joining a team of well-respected watercolour instructors who will offer an exciting selection of mini-workshops throughout the five working days of the symposium. My classes will deal with abstraction, but the other workshops will include portrait, landscape, still-life, figure and many other topics.

The Symposium will also offer plein air excursions to the foothills and Rocky Mountains.

The program will include presentations, demonstrations, excursions, slide shows and much more. It will be a fabulous experience for artists from beginner to advanced who are looking for new challenges.

November 9 - November 11, 2017
  Sherwood Park, AB

This workshop is designed to help both new and experienced artists unlock the potential of acrylic paint. Although acrylics have characteristics similar to oil and watercolours, they have many unique properties that can lead to frustration. Understanding how acrylics work can empower you to achieve exciting results.

Stay tuned for more details regarding this workshop.
